Cricket Australia (CA) has confirmed that public ticket allocations for two marquee matches of the upcoming series between Australia and India scheduled in October-November, the ODI at the Sydney Cricket Ground and the T20I at Manuka Oval in Canberra, have been completely exhausted, a full four months before the series gets underway.
Over 90,000 tickets divided over eight matches have been snapped up within just two weeks of public sale.
Following record-breaking numbers in tickets for the upcoming Ashes, this increasing demand for India's 2025 tour of Australia highlights the growing appetite for top-tier international cricket.

Indian Fan Clubs Push Ticket Demand Through the Roof
A significant chunk of tickets has been driven by passionate Indian fan clubs, with more than 16 per cent of sales attributed to these communities.
The Bharat Army has led the charge, securing over 2,400 tickets. Fans India was not far behind, having already bought more than 1,400 tickets. Notably, Amit Goyal from Brissy Baniyas, an Aggarwal community group, has made headlines for purchasing 880 tickets for the Gabba T20I, making him the highest individual buyer for a single match.
Other Indian community collectives such as Indian Community of Gold Coast and Pakka Local have also made their presence felt, picking up over 500 tickets for games at the Gold Coast and MCG.
Joel Morrison, Executive General Manager of Events & Operations at Cricket Australia, acknowledged the strength of the response.
"Exhausting our public ticket allocation for the SCG ODI and Manuka Oval T20I four months prior to the series is a testament to the tremendous interest for the upcoming season amongst cricket fans," Morrison said as quoted in a statement released by Cricket Australia.
He added:
"We are thrilled to see continued strong engagement amongst Indian diaspora off the back of a record-breaking Border Gavaskar series last summer. The forecast strong turnout of Australian and Indian fans means we’ll again have a fantastic atmosphere at each match."
"There is extreme interest in what promises to be our biggest ever summer of cricket, so we encourage fans to buy early to avoid missing out on the action."
