The second season of the Global Super League (GSL) kicks off on Thursday, July 10 in Guyana. The T20 tournament will run till July 19.

Organised by the Cricket West Indies (CWI), this year’s competition features some of the best-performing sides from recent domestic T20 leagues. The teams taking part in GSL 2025 are:

Central Districts (New Zealand) - Winners of the Super Smash 2024-25, Dubai Capitals (UAE) - Champions of the ILT20 2025, Guyana Amazon Warriors (West Indies) - Finalists of the Caribbean Premier League 2024, Hobart Hurricanes (Australia) - Champions of the Big Bash League 2024-25, and Rangpur Riders (Bangladesh) - Defending Global Super League champions.

Each side will play four matches in the group stage of Global Super League 2025. The top two teams at the end of the round-robin phase will move on to the grand final. All 11 matches, including the final, will be played at the Providence Stadium in Guyana. The tournament wraps up on July 19.

Rangpur Riders are the defending champions. Last season, they clinched the title with a 56-run win over Victoria in the final.
